Happy New Year from Asakusa - 浅草から謹賀新年

Happy New Year!

新年明けましておめでとうございます！

It's already January 3rd in Japan. How did you spend your New Year holidays? I had a New Year Party with my boon companions in Asakusa on New Year's Day.

日本はもう三ヶ日のラストとなりましたが、お正月休みはどう過ごされましたか？
私は飲み仲間と一緒に元旦は浅草で新年会でした。

Asakusa is one of Tokyo's most traditional neighborhoods that is very popular with visitors from abroad.

浅草は東京の最も古い下町のひとつで、外国人観光客にとても人気があるんですよ。

• Sensōji Temple

I was surprised that there were extremely crowded with people there.

• 浅草寺

たっくさんの人で溢れていたのでそれはそれは驚きましたとも。

• Daikokuya (Tempura shop) - the most famous Tempura shop which has a long history in Asakusa area

I saw many long lines.

• 大黒屋（天ぷら屋）／浅草エリアで最も有名な老舗の天ぷら屋

長蛇の列を見ましたよ〜〜〜（驚）

• Jinrikisha (Rickshaw)

I want to ride on it at least once.

• 人力車

ウーン一度は乗ってみたいですね〜〜〜^^

• Sake Bar

We ate and drank there. I would recommend that you eat Motsu Nikomi (innards stew) and Yakitori (Japanese style barbecued chicken). They were reasonable and nice!

• 酒バー

我々はソコで飲んで食べました。
で、何と言ってもモツ煮込みと焼き鳥がオススメです！
安くて美味しかったですよ〜〜〜(^_^)v

• HUB (British pub)

We also ate and drank....and listened to music by Dixieland jazz band there.... It was our lucky day!

またもやココでも飲んで食べて....デキシージャズバンド演奏も聴けて....
ツイてたわ〜〜〜♪

It's a bland New Year.
