Time Goes By So Slowly

It was a national holiday in Japan yesterday, so I was off work: February 11 is celebrated as National Foundation Day. Accorcing to old Japanese mythology, Emperor Jinmu, the first emperor of Japan, ascended to the throne and founded the imperial line on this day.

And moreover, it was a bright sunny day—a perfect day for going out. So I went to hang out at my baby sister's house. Then I was treated to her husband's homemade dishes.

I must say, he is good at cooking. That was great. "Simple" is "best"! And the time went by so slowly there. This is the first recreation I've had in for a long time. Therefore, I think I can do my best at work starting today. I'm sure he is a gift from God. I have no parents...but I'm so lucky to have such a great family. I love them with all I've got.

Thank you my dearest family for the lovely lunch. Next time it's on me.
