✦ What a Wonderful World ✦: Enchanted - Disney on Classic Spring Gala 2016 魔法にかけられて〜ディズニー・オン・クラシック春の音楽祭2016

I saw Disney on Classic Spring Gala 2016 with some of my musical mates at Tokyu Theatre Orb after work last Friday.

先週の金曜日に音楽仲間と『ディズニー・オン・クラシック〜春の音楽祭2016』を東急シアターオーブへ観に行って来ました。

Dubbed "a musical theatre floating on air," Tokyu Theatre Orb is nestled inside a stunning glass atrium that sits wedged between the 11th and 16th floors of a new multi-use tower in Tokyo.
It is the largest venue of its type in Japan, with a maximum seating capacity of 1,972, and it also boasts a reinforcement system based on Meyer Sound M'elodie line array loudspeakers.

“宙空のミュージカル劇場”と呼ばれる東急シアターオーブは
11階から16階の間が驚くほど素晴らしい吹き抜けになっている
東京の新しい多目的劇場です。
日本では最大の会場であり、座席数は最大で1,972席
また音響は世界最強のメイヤーズ・システムを採用しています。

The theater is—literally—the centerpiece of Shibuya Hikarie, a high-rise retail, entertainment and commercial project developed by the Tokyu Corporation.
It is located in the Shibuya municipality of Tokyo, an area known as a thriving center for fashion, entertainment and nightlife.

劇場は東急によって開発された商業用高層建築であり
正に渋谷ヒカリエの中心的存在となっています。
場所はファッションや娯楽、ナイトライフ等で人気のある中心地として知られている、東京都の渋谷区にあります。

This theatre has become my favorite since I saw the Broadway revival of West Side Story in July 2012.

2012年7月にブロードウェイ引っ越し公演『ウエストサイド物語』を観て以来
ここが大のお気に入りです。

The view from the window is enchantingly beautiful..

窓からの眺めはウットリするほど美しいですし。。

Also, Mt. Fuji can be seen from here. Yes, it was neatly visible the day. Hot dog! 👍 So I suggest everyone to come here to see it. 😉

『ディズニー・オン・クラシック』について

本格的規模のオーケストラとブロードウェイの才能ある歌手たちの出演によるディズニー楽曲コンサートであり、2002年にハーモニー・ジャパンにより企画されてからの13年間、400以上の演目で90万人以上の観客を魅了しています。

This Disney on classic Spring Gala 2016 has performed Disney animation and film music, including Pinocchio, Hercules, The Lion King, Aladdin, selected Pixar animation as well as Tokyo Disneyland park music.

今回の『ディズニー・オン・クラシック〜春の音楽祭2016』では、東京ディズニーランドのテーマパーク音楽及び、ピクサー映画よりセレクトされた『ピノキオ』『ヘラクレス』『ライオン・キング』『アラジン』等のディズニーアニメや映画音楽が演奏されています。

The concert was an even more splendid than I had imagined. 👏 Every story and music were full of adventure, courage, love and friendship. That's my Disney! 👍👍

コンサートはもう想像以上にす薔薇しかったです👏
どのお話も曲も冒険、勇気、愛、そして友情に満ちていて
サスガはディズニーですね！👍👍

And every member of the singers from Broadway was a show-stopper. Bravissimo!!! 👏👏👏 However, I keenly felt the difficulty of staging the Broadway musical. Rome was not built in a day.. I think it is better for the Japanese do not musical...maybe... 😱

そしてブロードウェイシンガー隊のどの方もす薔薇しすぎる名演でした。
ブラヴィッシーモ！！！👏👏👏
とは言えど、ブロードウェイミュージカルを上演することの難しさを痛感しました。
ローマは一日にして成らず。。
この際日本人はミュージカルをヤラない方が身のためではないかと。。。たぶん。。。😱

Be that as it may, Brad Kelley, a Disney composer and conductor was also very wonderful. 👏👏
He has contributed to the Disney on Classic series since its first performance, "Concert at Magical Night," in 2002, helping to make the concerts successful every year.
His direction and arrangement skills are excellent, and he always manages to capture the hearts of Japanese audiences.
He has joined a number of Disney projects including Mystic Rhythms and Donald's Boat Builders, as well as Encore! at Tokyo DisneySea.
He has visited Japan many times and loves Japanese culture and food.

それはさておき、ディズニー作曲家でもあり指揮者でもあるブラッド・ケリー氏もとてもす薔薇し過ぎました👏👏
彼は2002年にスタートした『まほうの夜の音楽会』よりディズニー・オン・クラシック・シリーズに貢献しており、毎年コンサートを大成功に導いています。
彼の指揮と編曲は極めて優れており、常に日本人観客の心を捉えて離しません。
そして東京ディズニーシーの『アンコール！』も含め、『ミスティックリズム』や『ドナルドのボートビルダー』の音楽にも参加しています。
また、日本を度々訪れていて、日本文化と日本食の愛好家でもあります。

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the show members. The show was amazing end-to-end, and all the music has given me encouragement and hope. I had a wonderful time with you all. Thank you so much for the magical time. I can't wait to see you all at the next concert.
